The Official Home Page for https://www.librarything.com/author/mcauliffekathleen has a normal looking url but it's immediately redirected to what looks like a game site.

She probably stopped paying for the url and website and it's been bought by something else. Can check if the site is on the way back machine and change the link to that.
ETA: Ah, looks like she has a .net now https://www.kathleenmcauliffe.net/
