Do you think Steve Carstairs was responsible for Carl’s head injuries? If so, why did you think he did it? If not, any other theories?

Steve Carstairs was under a lot of stress with personal problems and when Carl tried to mug him he got punched for his efforts and was found lying on the floor with head injuries.

If Steve did not do it how does he account for the half hour when he went missing? His past behaviour has not always been that great and I think that he was provoked by Carl and did hit him.

Steve was responsible but it seemed to be self-defense.

It would seem too coincidental for Steve to have visited the prisoner in his cell, and for the prisoner then to be found with head injuries.

The punk probably self inflicted his wounds to cause problems.

We know Steve sails close to the wind, but I can’t see him dong this as he would know he couldn’t get away with it. Like John says >6 JohnDBurke:, wouldn’t be surprised if it was self inflicted.
