How to delete a nonexistent work

By all available indications, Splatoon 17 was never published. There are currently no owners, the two editions have no ISBN associated, and online references consistently state that the series ended with #16 in all territories. What’s the best way to deal with this?

If there's any chance it will be published, I'm not sure you should. A Song of Ice and Fire for instance still lists the last 2 books, though it's dubious who still believes they'll eventually be published

You can add a disambiguation notice to the Common Knowledge saying it was never published.
