Do you think Simon Tench knew the person who killed him? What links can you see between his murder and that of Charlie Marrick?

It’s possible that Simon Tench knew the person who killed him. The murder was linked to Charlie Marrick’s murder through the amount of blood left on the bare wooden boards, the wounds in the neck and no defense wounds.

Yes, Simon knew his killer. He was very welcoming when he answered the door on the evening of his murder.
I can’t ‘see’ any links, but I can ‘surmise’. For instance, both Simon and Marrick were (I believe) similar in age - did they knock around together when they were younger? Plus there’s the fact that Simon looked uncomfortable when Sam brought up Marrick’s murder, swiftly changing the subject…

I agree that Simon seemed to know his killer and I like the 'surmising' of >3 Sergeirocks:

Definitely think he knew his killed and invited them in, there has to be some connection between Simon and Marrick in the past I feel.
