Could the sexual assault on Petronella give some reason as to why Charlie was killed? Do you think he could have preyed on other women?

Not currently looking at Petronella, (especially as there’s been another killing), but I doubt she’s alone in having been attacked by Marrick.

Charlie’s assault on Petronella would be a reason Charlie was killed. Other women besides Petronella could have been preyed upon so Petronella is not the only one to be a suspect.

It would not be a surprise to hear that he had abused other women. We also know that he committed fraud, so this is a man with the potential to have many enemies.

It doesn't exactly say so, but it seems to be setting a pattern of behavior; so there may have been or yet will be others.

Given he had abused Petronella I would expect him to have assaulted other women. It’s definitely a motive for murder, but don’t think Petronella is our killer.
