Any thoughts on what Wesley and Heffernan were told by Norman Hedge? Any thoughts on ‘the girl in question’?

Norman Hedge and Mr Hadderson were a gay couple. The girl in question was unknown as Dean Mortimer was found dead when Wesley and Heffernan went to see him.

I currently have Joanne down as ‘the girl in question’, she holidayed in the area as a child. It could fit.
