Problems with a venerable author (one caused by me, others not)

I'm big on people getting credit for their work, so when we acquired The Stars We Do Not See: Australian Indigenous Art a couple weeks ago I entered the obvious people (editor; writers of the Foreward and the Afterword; the person responsible for the deeply researched fold-out map) as well as all the other people profiled in the "Contributors" section. Mine is the 6th copy of the work in LT; only the editor was entered for all editions, but I recalculated the authors and accepted all that I'd entered. And then I decided to fill in some CK for each of the obvious and not-so-obvious people responsible for the work.

For the last few days I've been working on the final contributor profiled, Aunty Joy Murphy Wandin AO (sic), "a senior Elder of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation and Elder in Residence at the National Gallery of Victoria". The page created when I entered the metadata for my book is Aunty Jo Murphy Wandin. I know that Aunty is a honorific name in some cultures, and since it's how she's credited in a book that focuses on her culture I kept it that way.

-----
Problem #1: The astute reader will take far less than 2 weeks to notice that I fat-fingered her name when I typed it in, writing "Aunty Jo" instead of "Aunty Joy".

Q: Is there a way to fix an error like this?

-----
Problem #2: This may or may not be a problem, but it's certainly background info for the next problems.

In searching for author photographs and biographical info to put into CK, I found lots of resources from which to glean info. After I got it entered and started to wrestle with how to resolve Problem #1, I discovered that what's considered her "family name" varies considerably. Briefly:

• In my book's "Contributors" listing, she's alphabetized as a "W", i.e. as
Wandin, Aunty Joy Murphy

• When she was made an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in 2006 by the governor-general of Australia "with the approval of The Sovereign", her name appears with 2 family names as "Joy WANDIN MURPHY", i.e.
Wandin Murphy, Joy

• In a couple ABC News reports about events involving her (as well as in 1 publisher's page, as detailed in Problem #4), the writing in the articles makes clear that they're using a 2-part family name, but this time it's
Murphy Wandin, Aunty Joy

• Almost everything else I've found is written ambiguously, both to the order of "Murphy" and "Wandin" as well as to whether they're both being used as family names or if one is being used as a middle name.

Q: In a situation like this, does one just make sure all the possible permutations are listed as "other names"?

-----
Problem #3: A search for "Wandin" in LT yields one relevant author name:
Joy Wandin Murphy shows up in Author Search as "Joy Wandin Murphy (5)" but when I click through to the page it has 0 works.

Q: Is this "Joy Wandin Murphy (5)" indicative of LT members who deleted works? Does one just let it ride?

-----
Problem #4: Aunty Joy has written 2 children's books under the name "Aunty Joy Murphy", i.e.
Murphy, Aunty Joy

As mentioned in Problem #2, the text of the publisher's blurb ( https://www.walkerbooks.com.au/creator/murphy-aunty-joy/ ) clearly uses a 2-part family name,
Murphy Wandin, Aunty Joy

Both these works were previously entered into LT. Aunty Joy Murphy "Includes the names: Aunty Joy Murphy, Aunty Murphy Joy", and is author of
- Birrarung Wilam: A Story from Aboriginal Australia ( https://www.librarything.com/work/23336172/t/Birrarung-Wilam-A-Story-from-Aborig... )
- Welcome to Country ( https://www.librarything.com/work/18441072/t/Welcome-to-Country )

Q: After some of the dust from Problems #1 & #2 settles, should I then alias the Aunty Joy of The Stars We Do Not See: Australian Indigenous Art to the Aunty Joy of the 2 children's books, because they have more copies? Or vice versa?

Re #1,
I've removed the misspelled Jo name at the work level from The Stars We Do Not See, and added "Murphy Wandin, Aunty Joy" (based on your researching that the name format includes two surnames).

Only you could correct your own book record for your copy, though.

Re #3 and #4,
I would say the names can simply be combined, if there is no other person involved and they are all variations of the same person's name.
