What do you think is going on between Bosch and his wife?

I don’t think the marriage is going so well. Lots of baggage with Bosch and Eleanor. Bosch thought about Eleanor being out there somewhere alone, searching for something he obviously couldn’t give her. He felt their marriage would be doomed if he didn’t figure out what it was she needed. Eleanor didn’t seem content or complete. It made Bosch feel awful and guilty.

The two are mismatched. Bosch is a cop, Eleanor has a dodgy background. I think they undertook the marriage knowing they’d be up against things. Eleanor seems to be struggling.
