Several odd things:

1. I'm quite surprised we don't have a thread for this—key work of the genre and all that ....
   
2. I'm quite surprised I don't seem to have read it. Could have sworn I read it recently but no record, and I've seen so many film versions that perhaps I haven't ...
   
3. Just discovered, courtesy of the 'Delphi Complete Works ...', that it's pronounced 'Jeekill'—didn't know that before ...
   

Anyway, just going to have an hour at it before breakfast ...
