Hi!
I tried to split the author Tina Martin (3161707), since there's both an American author, and a Swedish author (and an actor?).
The Swedish author also published her book using Tina N. Martin, so I thought the right thing to do was split the Tina Martin, and then alias one of them into Tina N. Martin (19707675).
But since I combined my book (written by Tina Martin) into the others language versions (written by Tina N. Martin), there's no books shown under the Tina Martin name by the Swedish author.
Before I aliased the author, on my other books by her, I would manually change my book details to include the middle initial (even though my books do not include the initial), and I'm considering just continuing to to that now, since it looks like I messed this up.
Could someone look at this and help me out? And maybe explain where I went wrong?
Thank you!

What you need to do is to go to the division page, and mark each book to the correct author division. There is no need to change your author before combining. Currently no works are assigned to any split. If works are assigned, any books assigned to split 1 will end up on the Tina N Martin page because you did alias.

>2 MarthaJeanne: I've done that now, the American Tina Martin luckily had a website with all her books👍
But when looking at my book, when I click Tina Martin, it sends me to the disambiguation page, instead of to Tina N. Martin.
I did combine my book with the other editions, which had Tina N. Martin as the author, so is that why it doesn't link right?

Edit: Should I split my edition, choose the right Tina, and then combine it back with the other editions?
