Rachel (hibernator's) Reads the Third

Hi! I'm Rachel. 46yo mom of 3 humans and 5 furbabies. The humans are stepdaughter D (16yo), stepson M (14yo), and son IL (7yo). The furbabies are Puck, Hero, Polyphemus, Freyja, and Sake.

About half of what I read is fantasy, but I also read nonfiction (a variety), literary fiction, classics, and other assorted fiction. I read over 160 books last year, including short chapter books to IL.

I read 76 books last year, not counting short chapter books. My goal was one book a week, at least, and I nailed it. I'm going for 75 this year.

In addition to parenting and reading, I care for, and live with, my dad. I am a caregiver by job. I also pen pal and cross-stitch. I have about 30 pen pals.
