Theoretical physicist and astronomer Avi Loeb, of the Harvard Astronomy Department, is the lead scientist. He confirms that his group is working with unclassified data, some of which was recently unclassified by US President Trump.
(I look forward to seeing any analysis this group can provide on the apparently frictionless field visible around some UAPs.) With the increased number and variety of Earth’s telescopes, plus those in orbit, with others at LaGrange points and elsewhere, not to mention the billions of handheld cellphone cameras in use today, humanity’s space observation tools keep improving. This working group reports high up at the Pentagon, since the possibility of unannounced foreign technology over the USA (like the earlier Chinese balloon) has major defense implications. Newer ultra-highspeed camera technology and some development of AI analysis tools will also play key parts of this group’s work.
Another news article claims that the UAP Science Advisory Council was set up by the White House, the Pentagon, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the FBI and others. We may have to wait a bit to see an official organization chart.
