I have tentatively pencilled in The Man Who Saved the Union, a biography of Ulysses S. Grant by H. W. Brands, but that may well change, as I'm not a huge fan of biographies, and I expect it may take a few tries to find something that holds my interest well enough to read the whole thing.

I am currently reading Parisian Days by Banine, which is the follow-up to Days in the Caucasus, in which Banine describes her life in Azerbaijan in the years leading up to and during the Russian revolution. Parisian days is interesting enough, but Days in the Caucasus is much more so.

Depending on how much time I have, I might read Antonia Fraser's King Charles II. Other possibilities are Lindsey Powell's biographies of Roman military figures: Eager for Glory and Marcus Agrippa.
