For a company thats trying to teach spelling and grammar that statement doesn't make sense!

You can't be hooked on an adjective!

Thats like saying "I'm hooked on yellow" or "I'm hooked on loud" or "I'm hooked on fantastic"

It just doesn't make sense!?!?!?!?!?!

I mean you can be hooked on the word phonics but you can't actually be hooked on phonics!

Seriously It's not possible!

phonics can be used as a noun:

Phonics = (n) A method of teaching elementary reading and spelling based on the phonetic interpretation of ordinary spelling.

so you CAN be hooked on phonics.

and sometimes i feel like i'm hooked on fabulous...

and of course you can be hooked on phonics. i mean, people are hooked on crack, which is a... verb. and a sound. but its CODE for drugs... so phonics could be the new druggy thing:

person 1: "hey, lets go behind the school today and learn some phonics!"
person 2: "yeah! we'll learn all about the ch sound today!"
teacher: "wow, dedicated students! yall gets an A PLUS!"
person 1 +2: *snicker, snicker.*
