What are some of your favorite non-fiction books on wilderness survival and preparedness? Mine are:

Naked into the Wilderness, by John and Geri MacPherson

Primitive Living, Self-Sufficiency, and Survival Skills: A Field Guide to Primitive Living Skills by Thomas Elpel

Paradise Below Zero by Calvin Rutstrum

Bushcraft by Richard Graves

Making the Best of Basics By James Talmage Stevens

I'm curious to hear some of your reccomendations.

I find the Foxfire books to be helpful and informative. Many of the articles have little practical worth, but all give unique insight into a more primitive/simple way of life.
