There is a lot of really wonderful non-fiction about dogs. Beyond the training books, there are all the stories people have written about their own experiences and observations.
One book I've seen here on LT but haven't read yet: Shelter Dogs: Amazing Stories of Adopted Strays. I read The Secret Life of Dogs some time ago, and bits of it still are very vivid to me. It's odd, as popular as that book was, there's not one copy of it here on LT. The author is Sarah Hodgson.

I haven't read alot of books about dogs but I have a dog!I just got her like a month ago. She's soooo cute! But I don't remeber reading any books about dogs.Except for my own stories with dogs on them. Now that I think of it,the dogs in my stories are cute and maybe symbols of some kind that go along with the story!lol! :)
