How about his dad?

Has anyone here ever found a decent biography of Henry VI? Or even a good historical novel?

No, not so far. As it is, he usually remains a grim, sulky shadow in the background of both his son and his father.

There is a bio in German, but it's really deadly reading. There are better chapters about him in a couple books about the whole Staufer dynasty, which is not saying a lot 8-(

Hi,
I have found a book about Stupor Mundi's dad. Title: Enrico VI di Svevia. Dominus mundi Author: Mario Bernabò Silorata
Link: http://www.ibs.it/code/9788880825487/bernab-ograve-silorata-mario/enrico-vi-di-s...
The only problem is that the book is in italian. Once I'm finished I let you know if it is interesting or not

Well, my Italian is limited to a couple courtesy phrases my daughter tried to teach me. I know there is a German bio of Henry, but reading it is rather like eating dust.
