I'm guessing that the #1 shared book in the library here will be David Allen's Getting Things Done.

Well at least we have Home Comforts: The Art and Science of Keeping House in common! :)

I also see Temple Grandin and Thinking in Pictures : and Other Reports from My Life with Autism - good book. She has an essay "My Mind is a Web Browser" which is a good read.

Dewey numbers: go to (edit) behind 'Display styles A B C D E' - then you can change what fields get displayed. In the fifth group you see 'Dewey no.'

I don't remember if it was a book or only an article: The "80-20 rule" helps getting things done: in 20% of the time you often can achieve 80% of what you should be doing - in some cases the other 20% are not worth the 80% of effort.

The 80/20 rule is the Pareto Principle from economist Vilfredo Pareto - it's the same principle that governs the thinking in the current book The Long Tail.

No kidding, chamekke. It's a little scary, actually. I had totally purged forums from my life, and now here I am again.

Two books I find interesting in the GTD world:
The Tipping Point, which isn't specific to GTD, but has a similar "how do people really think and work" feel to it. And an old classic that I love, Time Management for Writers, which I don't think I can ever part with, even though it's a little out of date.
