I'm looking for a pattern for a traditional rasta hat with all the colors. Also websites that have have good easy to follow patterns would also be helpful. Thanks for the info on buying yarn online. Plan to visit those sites once I have a pattern. :)

Ravelry.com is a great resource for free patterns.

I second the Ravelry suggestion. I find it's as addictive as LT.

I agree with mcelhra and AnnaClaire - Ravelry.com is wonderful (she said as she flips back and forth between LT and Ravelry - LOL!).

Yep, yep, Ravelry is great for finding patterns. Even if the pattern is not available for free, there is a link that will locate a copy of the book in the library nearest you.

Besides ravely, another couple of sites I use are Knitting Pattern Central, at www.knittingpatterncentral.com and Knitty - a quarterly online magazine of free patterns and articles, at www.knitty.com
