Hi

It's late and I thought I'd just drop in like a dropped stitch to say G'day.

I must confess I haven't knitted anything for a year or so...been busy having a baby! But now want to knit a couple of soakers to go over her cloth nappies. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good, cheap pattern? (better yet free pattern!) Needs to be quick as she is growing out of the fleece cover she fits into now!

cheers

Nitnat (I really wanted Knitnat for my user name, but alas I think it was already taken!0

You should sign up for Ravelry.com
It's an absolutely fantastic resource for knitters and has hundreds of thousands of links to free patterns. It's a lot like librarything, only for knitters!

I love the name nitnat!

These patterns have links in Ravelry (and I second the recommendation that you check out that site too), but I'll put them here in case you can't wait the couple of days to get into Ravelry.

CurlyPurly Soaker (scroll down the page to get to it.)

Soaker w/ Tie

I hope those can at least keep you occupied until you get your Ravelry invitation.

I love ravelry as well. Lately, I'm in the crockpot group every day.
