I have read others information I believe that I will be breaking the seperate catagories done and star them when I have completed them. Also, if anyone questions my category Supernatural chic lit is a goal for myself to finish multiple books in this category. I have trouble following the books sometimes, but I hear that there are many cool books in the category.

Awesome list so far! :) I'm reading Anya Bast's witch series too (or at least just the first two, until I buy more). Good luck!

I have a dumb question what exactly is chic lit anyway? What is it just a light love story for women? I see it written every where but never knew exactly what it ment.

IMO, it's just a another word for romance. @ Wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chick_lit ), they explain it as kind of a "safe substitute" since it also deals with family and friends, not just focusing on the romance aspect of the story.

If anyone thinks of more for the categories that I have not already listed please suggest.

You have a great list going!! I peeked at your bookshelf and you have a lot of the ones I was going to suggest (Laurell K. Hamilton, Sherrilyn Kenyon, etc.)

For Fae or the like:
Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer

Dragons:
Dealing with DragonS series Patricia C. Wrede
Eragon by Christopher Paolini
Dragonriders of Pern series or any Anne McCaffrey book
The Dragon and the George by Gordon R. Dickson

Cheers.......

I was adding more books to my library when I came across a copy of Spellbinder : A Love Story with Magical Interruptions by Melanie Rawn. I haven't read this one yet (about a witch) but she has a really great Dragon Prince series that you might be interested in. I'm thinking maybe I should add the dragon category to my own list as I would love to reread that series and a few others I had mentioned above.

For the law enforcement, you should check out the Aisling Grey, Guardian series by Katie MacAlister. I love them. Great list, I may model mine after yours!

Yes, I enjoyed At Grave's End by Jeaniene Frost as much as the others. I always love stories with kick ass heroines that might have a flaw or two, ohh and not to forget tall, dark, handsome, and dangerous male sidekicks *S*

You might also enjoy Jenna Black's The Morgan Kingsley - Demon Exorcist Series which plays in my home city of Philly and fits into your law enforcement category:

The Devil Inside (Book 1)
The Devil You Know (Book 2)
The Devil's Due (Book 3)
Speak of the Devil (Book 4, Coming July 28, 2009).

Sorry, I just checked and saw that you already have some of her books in the series. Did you like them?

Check out the books that I have in that category so I call it PI/Police Procedural. It's going to be interesting to find out if the new series from Caitlin Kittredge "Street Magic" (Black London, Book 1) is any good. Coming out in June '09.

Happy Reading!
