Plum Bun by Jessie Redmon Fauset

I've posted my observations about the novel here, but am happy to continue the discussion here on LT when others have read the novel and are ready to chime in.

A nice review Rob. I read Plum Bun a number of year ago. I liked it but I enjoyed Nella Larsen's Passing more. Incidentally, a former professor of mine George Hutchinson wrote an excellent biography of Larsen entitled In Search of Nella Larsen: A Biography of the Color Line. If you're interested in the Harlem renaissance, he also wrote an award-winning literary history entitled The Harlem Renaissance in Black and White.

I have it and now, more than ever, I want to read it.
