Excellent! I've loved Sookie ever since my husband and I were at a bookstore and he said "Hey Karen - here's a strange book about Southern vampires."

It's his fault that I now adore vampire fiction.

I actually read these books first, then the 'Twilight' craze sucked me in and I caved and read those books too. Now I'm on the search for some more vampire fiction.

>BooGirl - Not sure if your looking for YA or Not but The Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead is very good and if you liked Buffy the Vampire Slayer sitcom them you will really like the Gardella Vampire Chronicles by Colleen Gleason they have a few love scenes in this series but not to graphic. The story keeps the pages turning though.

I can't wait!

I've read the rest of the series twice through already. Going to re-read it again before the new book. :)

Ah, the 2010 book, Dead in the Family. Also due in May, like last year's book.

Something to look forward to. I hope it's better than the last one, which although entertaining was a bit frenzied.

I watched two episodes of the show True Blood and absolutely hated it. Haven't watched any more.

True Blood is very different. Because it's HBO there's way more sex and not enough of the Sookie humor that I love so much in the books.
