Season 5

Did anybody see the one hour recap and the 2 Hour Premiere of LOST last night? I think this new Season looks to be just as good and exciting as in the previous years. I am so excited to finally have a new Season of LOST to watch. What do you all think about it?

Beatles, Yes, I watched, and am sooo happy LOST is back. As usual, we're going to have to pay close attention. All of the time jumping that's going on has my head spinning already. Can you believe Jin is still alive??? I'm interested in learning more about Daniel Faraday...

Yea, I know. How about a real young Chuck Widmore from 50 years ago?

So....sometime in the future, Daniel Faraday must travel back to the island when Charlotte was a little girl, to warn her to leave and never come back. BUT, not only DOES she come back anyway, but she comes back WITH Daniel Faraday...and he doesn't know enough to keep her away, because he's not far enough in his own timeline to know he warned her not to come?? UGH! AND, apparently Miles has been there before, also.....do you think he was a Dharma-Child, too?

And then we have Jin and Sun, which seem to be this season's new Desmond and Penny....

And what's up with Daniel's mom and Jack/Claire's freaky dead dad?

There is no LOST on tonight because ABC has scheduled something else in it's Time Slot.
We'll have to wait until next week to see the next episode of LOST. Several episodes ago Charlotte was telling Locke that Richard Alpert was very, very old. Much older than he actually looks. That got me to wondering IF it's possible that Richard could be Immortal. Could the Island actually make someone Immortal? I wonder how much older Richard Alpert really is.

Hey, did you all see Jack's father on the Island in last night's episode of LOST? It seems that Jack, Kate, Syed, & Hugo all got back to the Island but so did their friend Frank the Pilot of the Plane that crashed on the Island as well as a bunch of other people too who were not part of the original people from Oceanic 815 that crashed on the Island. It looks like the woman who was a Cop from Season One, Ana Lucia played by Michelle Rodriguez is back on the Island too but she came back as a totally different character unless that was Ana Lucia.

They just didn't crash in their own time period instead they crashed in the 1977 time period of the Island which is really weird. And we also get to see Ethan as a baby.

I'm not sure how they are going to explain Ben and Sun "landing" in a different time. It makes it more suspenseful, I suppose, postponing Sun & Jin's reunion, but how will they explain it? Could be that not everyone coming messed it up. Ben and Faraday's Mom said they ALL had to go back.

I think it's fitting that this time around Jack's a workman and Sawyer is in charge.

What happened to Faraday? He's not there anymore, but do we know why? Do you think he will show up in present-day again?

And (I have so many questions!), do you think Sayid is going to try to kill young Ben?

(I'm still bummed that Charlie is dead....maybe he'll show up again with all this decade-jumping)

We haven't seen the French woman Rousseau lately. I wonder what's up with that. Did you all Wednesday night's episode? Richard Alpert took the 13 year-old version of Ben with him and said that he can save him but he won't turn out the same. We'll finally be able to find out why Ben is the manipulative, sneaky, lying, untrustworthy person that he is.

So actually, our castaways' intrusion CAUSED Ben to become "the manipulative, sneaky, lying, untrustworthy person that he is". Had they not been there, Ben wouldn't have gotten shot and would have never been handed over to the likes of "Uncle Alpert". Hmmmmm..........

Remember Juliet said that she was unable to save Ben's life and had to be handed over to Richard Alpert who said that if he takes him, his personality won't be the same when they get to him as he was then. To me, Richard wa saying Ben was going to be getting some kind of a Personality Transplant. His life would be changed forever because he had been handed over to Richard. I would like to know exactly how ancient is Richard Alpert. Because he is certainly a heck of a lot older than he looks according to Juliet.

By having landed back on the Island in the wrong year and place I think the whole Time-Space Continuum was screwed up and they inadvertently changed the history of what happened on the Island. So they in fact actually became original members of the Dharma Initiative. At least that is one possible theory about what happened to them on the Island. I guess watching DOCTOR WHO for years and years and learning about the Time-Space Continuum actually paid off. I would say that The Doctor at least the Tom Baker version of The Doctor is actually very smart even though he did scrape by with 51% on his third attempt at the Galifreyan Academy. He is a lot smarter than some other Time Lords he just isn't arrogant like The Master. He can and does show off his abilities from time to time in front of everyone involved but for the most part he's seems to be modest even though K-9 a computer would be classified as a genius and helps The Doctor out whenever he gets in a jam.

Sorry for getting off on the subject here which of course is about LOST. Talking about the Time-Space Continuum reminded me of DOCTOR WHO and I started rambling on about The Doctor.
