Great Idea. What's your favourite vampire novel? I'm currently reading an interview with a vampire.
Cheers

Interview with a vampire is great! A few books ive read that are really good are the Anita Blake series by laurell hamilton, The sookie stackhouse series by charlaine harris and the riley jensen series by keri arthur. LOL I am a big fan of vampire fiction and within the next week will be starting a few different series..

Hello :-) I've only just recently gotten into Vampire Fiction, and this sounds like a great group for it. I've read all the Twilight books and the comic version of Vampire Kisses book 2. I've got a few more vamp books on Mt. TBR, but I haven't gotten to them yet.

I'm hoping to read Let the Right One In (Swedish: Låt den rätte komma in) by Swedish writer John Ajvide Lindqvist. I just saw the film and it was fantastic.

lol Nick.. I was sold on the idea of Anita Blake when I checked out wikipedia and the first description says.. erotic fantasy novels.. so I will definitely add her to my To Do reading list. I finally finished Blood Price the first of Tanya Huff's and actually it was quite suspenseful, very dark and occult.. I have the next one back to take with me to the beach this week.. hmm maybe I need to take two!

I am also reading The first book in the Queen Betsy series by Mary Janice Davidson Undead and Unwed. If you like vampire books with humor this is a series for you! She also writes books on werewolves the wyndham wolves and I love those as well!! If you like alot of erotic mary janice davidson has plenty along with humor!

Hey jqmc.. hope ya don't mind i shortened your nick.. its a very Aussie thing to do! I was just on a holiday at the beach and had a chance to check out Anita Blake.. wow she has a lot of books! While I was away I had the time to read another 3 of Tania Huff, and although they are not really strictly vampire for the purists, they are a pretty good read with a lot of emphasis on crime investigation. Two more in the series and then I am going to start with Anita's series. I had a thought while I was chasing waves on my boogie board, maybe human's are dreaming up vampires as we don't seem to have a strong enough predator...

Has anybody read any of the Kim Harrison books? I just finished "For a Few Demons More" and I am really hooked on this series.
