Who are your favourite characters in ASoIaF? I have a hard time picking just one, so I just decided to like a bunch.
Tyrion Lannister, Sandor Clegane, Jaime Lannister, Brienne, and Arya Stark are the characters I enjoy reading about the most. What about you?
Although she's not a favourite right now, I really need to know what's going to happen to Ceresei!

Littlefinger is a strange one, and kind of mysterious. I do like him too.
One of my favourite characters used to be Eddard Stark..until he had no more lines. I still like his attitude, though.

I love Arya, Bran, Jon, Tyrion and Dany. They're probably the obvious choices, but I also hang out for Sam, Brienne, Jaime and the Onion Knight.

I do love Jaime and how he seems to be on his own personal twelve step program to redeem himself from his start as a total cad. I do hope that he's a survivor and that he manages to stay the heck away from his sis.

True. I've been watching GoT with my girlfriend and she hates Jaime. I keep telling her that he's a more complex and interesting character than he appears in the first book.

I see it's been a while since anyone has posted in here, but I wanted to weigh in. I am currently 3/4 done with ASoS. I have some similar favorites, and some that most people disagree with.
Jon - I love him. He's hands down my favorite character. There's so much mystery surrounding him. He may be a bastard born, but he acts more chivalrous and lordly than most of the high born characters in the books. I find myself so excited to read when I come across a chapter labeled "JON."
Sansa - I get that she is one of the most hated characters in the book because she appears so weak and spineless. I, however, find a quiet bravery in her. Unlike her sister, who is constantly in the midst of bloodshed, Sansa lives in a different, more under-handed danger. The things she must bear are things that Arya would never be able to handle. I root for Sansa without waver.
Tyrion - Everyone loves a villain who has wonderful moments of turning into someone good. And let's face it, he is easily one of the funniest characters in the series.
Gendry - I don't know why... I am so intrigued by him.
Davos - He is so loyal to Stannis (so far), and I admire him for that considering that most other characters' loyalties change so quickly. His never do. And his scene in ASoS where he's learning to read warms my heart.

Ser Jorah is one of my favorites as well. He seems like such a good guy who really screwed up his life all in the name of love. I can empathize.

I like all your choices, Hollister. I admit that Sansa's whining puts me off, but I think there is some major development in her future.

My favourite is Daenerys, no question! I'm a bit put off, as all of my favourite characters are getting killed. I hope she makes it!
