What are the various meanings of the title The Blind Assassin? Which characters act as blind assassins by uncomprehendingly causing the demise of other characters?

I'm not sure. I guess that Iris could have been said to uncomprehendingly caused the death of Laura by telling her about Alex. I guess she also could be seen to have caused the death of Richard by writing the book.
