"targilem"

Does anyone out there know what "targilem" means?
I ran across this word while working in the Jewish
Braille Institute in Manhattan. I have tried several
online dictionaries (Russian, Hebrew, Farsi, Arabic and
Turkish)

Could it be a Turkish inflected form of "Targui" (i.e. "Touareg")

You sure it isn't targilim, plural of תרגיל targil 'exercise' / 'drill'?

There are a handful of Google hits for таргилем; they seem to relate to the Israeli military from what I can tell.

I go with MMcM's answer. "Targilim" would be the plural of "targil." I've seen it used most often in the context of schoolwork. A page of math problems or a series of reading questions would be referred to as "targilim."

The suffixes "-im" (־.ים) and "-ot" (־וֹת) appended to the end of Hebrew words (adjectives and participles as well as nouns) make them plural.

I heard the word orally, I didnt see it transliterated. So it must have been "targilim".

targilim are exercises (of any kind, in school, in the gym or in the army).

Not a Russian or Ukrainian word. And in Russian and Ukrainian, the -ем extension puts a word into instrumental case. There are exceptions of course!
