I have read a few Stephen King books. I am not really a fan but I have been known to like his work. I was given this one today. It is a Florida setting. Any one have any comments about it?

It's on my TBR pile -- waiting for a long summer week with no papers to grade. Since King has a house on Casey Key and the book is set in and around Sarasota, it's a definite must read for me. However, I wish King would hire a good editor.

My boyfriend's mother read it and liked it except it apparently had some strong language that she felt was objectionable and unnecessary.

It's one of the best stories he has written in a long time. Reminds me a little of John D. MacDonald. Now that Mr. King has moved to the same town JDM lived in, maybe it will affect his prose. Good show!
