I'm not an active ham for last ten years or so - computer communications overwhelmed. But I still enjoy what I've learned while at UK3KP in Moscow during approximately 1985-1992, with plenty of Dxpeditions and action going on there that time. UA3CR (Labutin) and UA3AJG (if I remember correctly, Sushansky) were my teachers, to whom I still owe a lot of my life developments.

I still eventually turn on my old receivers - I have Hallicrafters SX-28 Syper Skyrider receiver of WWII fame, as well as soviet R-250 still connected to aerials, but with not too much action.

If any of you will eventually come over to Moscow, Russia - give me a call, I'll show you some fun places and buy you a beer :)

hey kahani. welcome. This is not very busy. I'd love to visit Moscow sometime. For me, an American who grew up in the fifties and sixties, Moscow is a fabled place, almost mythological. To walk in Red Square would be awesome!
