Jammed under the satellite equipment for a tv in a BBQ pit in Blowing Rock, NC the book Animals Without Parents. Looks like it might once have been a library book. Appears there is only one on LT.

On the subway yesterday, man, fiftyish, yoga mat under his arm, was reading Thackeray's Vanity Fair.

My doc's lab tech was reading Seven Strategies for Wealth and Happiness by Jim Rohn. Sort of a concern since she's thinking about how to get rich while she's supposed to be drawing my blood. Yikes.
