This year in my English class I haven't read any books. Don't freak out we have read things, exerpts from books and poems etc. but we have not read a full novel. I was just wondering what are some "not to miss" books that you have read in high school.

Even though I'm not in High School yet. My cousin just finished his junior year and I asked him what they've read. Here are just some of the few
Echoes from the Infantry: A Novel by Frank Nappi
The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
The Bell Jar: A Novel (Perennial Classics) by Sylvia Plath
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd
Hope the list helps you out!
