I own this movie like a lot of other people and I'm very disappointed that there hasn't been a Sequel or three since She Creature originally came out in 2001. In fact I had thought they would start making Sequels to it almost right away and also maybe a Prequel to it as well explaining how the Mermaid was originally caught and how the old Sea Captain brought her back to his house.
I had often wondered why no one had thought of hiding out in the Crow's Nest until the coast was clear surely the Mermaid couldn't climb up to get you in the Crow's Nest. The Crow's Nest seemed like the best hiding place to me for someone to be at the time. I would like to know if the Mermaid would've been able to sense someone was hiding out somewhere.

I would really love to see them continue the series. I wonder why they haven't bothered to make another one by now. I love the movie and am interested in finding out if there's someplace I can go to see if ther are in fact working on a Sequel.
