Doing a public library crawl yesterday and picked up a new vampire fiction book called "Necking" by Chris Salvatore - 'dating a vampire is going to be the death of her'. The blurb suggests vampires, werewolves, witches and aliens so this could be interesting. Chris Salvatore has worked in publishing and communications and this is her first novel.
I am also REALLY looking forward to my favourite author Francesca Lia Block's vampire book "Pretty Dead" (Harpers Collins). Francesca has dealt with fairies and so forth before so I think she will be able to do a good job of vampires! Here's the blurb:
Charlotte Emerson seems to have the perfect existence. She is enviably beautiful and lives alone in a mansion full of treasures and beautiful clothes, perched atop the cliffs of the Pacific Palisades.
