A very overage "child" has just discovered childrens and/or young people's literature.
Have started the Percy Jackson and the Olymians series and would like to hear some comments from others. I am enjoying it.
Also have discovered Gregor the Overlander and can't wait to really delve into those character.

I love the Percy Jackson series! I have the last one on my TBR short list - hope to get to it this month.

Is there any particular genre you gravitate to? I personally love Youth and Young Adult Fantasy.

Some of my favorites:
*Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer
*Inkheart, Inkspell and Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke
*Sharon Shinn's YA series (touchstones never work on these) - The Safe-Keeper's Secret, The Truth-Teller's Tale, The Dream-Maker's Magic
*A Great and Terrible Beauty, Rebel Angels and The Sweet Far Thing by Libba Bray
*Anything by Richard Peck (A Year Down Yonder, The Ghost belonged to me, Ghosts I have been are some of my favorites)
*Holes by Louis Sacher
*The Sisters Grimm series by Michael Buckley starting with The Fairy-Tale Detectives - 7 so far in the series.
