In anticipation of the October release of Dennis Lehane's Shutter Island I read the novel. The preview for the film makes it look incredible and I think Leo Decaprio will be good in the lead role. But the book only suggests the horror that the film might more viably recreate. I found the book to be not very frightening and not overly interesting also.
