one of my favorite series is Bloody Jack. Its about this street rat girl, Mary Faber, who disguises herself as a boy to get on a British Navy Ship. There she gets into all types of situations that could possibly have her found out! (btw it takes place in the late 1700s)
Also Born Confused is about Dimple Lala who is an Indian American (indian as in india). She's confused about how to merge her american life with her indian heritage. in the mix there is love and heartbreak, friendship and fights. its a beautiful book, it made me want to sit down and write!
the secret history of the pink carnation is also good. this girl Eloise needs to finish her dissertation on to spies, the Scarlet Pimpernel and the Purple Gentian, then she discovers old papers (a secret history) of the Pink Carnation, one of the most elusive spies. The most part of the story is in the past leading to who the pink carnation is, set in Napoleonic times.

Pretty much anything by Tamora Pierce is amazing, but I don't know what kinds of books you like.

I definetly recommend C.S. Lewis's "The Chronicles of Narnia" I also recommend The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale and River Secrets by Shannon Hale.

Narnia is an all time classic series. I cant believe Susan doesn't go back at the end! I totally lost a bet over that this weekend! (Luckily I was betting my sister, LOL)

I know! I was really sad, and disappointed. I don't remember the exact reaction because I read them like four years ago, but I also couldn't believe that if the Pevensies went back (or the characters in the last book) if they went back, they would've died.

I refuse to tell people my favorite books...it'd take hours! :)

You read it??!
I know isn't it? I couldn't put it down! I sure hope Mari Mancusi makes a sequel.
