So, early in the year, I basically ran out of funds to send books, and instead of making the poor people wait months for me to get back on my feet, I canceled all of my pending mooches and just stayed away from BM for awhile.

When I came back, I found that my account had been shut down. I can only assume it's because I was inactive, or had negative points due to being a little over-hasty with mooching, and in canceling mooches gave up points I didn't have. (I promise I wasn't trying to screw the system. I even planned to give more than I took in the future to fix my karma.)

So, I started a new account. The only problem is, I can't do anything. I get this message everywhere:
"Before you can use that feature, we need you to confirm your email address. A confirmation email will be sent to you in the next 24 hours, once an administrator has reviewed your account.

If you do not receive a confirmation message, it may be that your email address has a spam filter which is rejecting the message. You might want to try using a different email address at BookMooch or checking your spam filter.

You can email tech support if you need help."

And no email is coming. I've had my new account for weeks.
I even clicked the thing to send an email to tech support. And did.
Basically, how can I get out of this situation?

I had that before. You can either hope and pray that the tech will fix the problem for you or you could just create a new account, and if there's no more problems, abandon your old one foreverrrr.....

Though i'm sure the latter is mostly discouraged.

You will need to contact us through 'tech support' (or just 'click 'abuse' from your account) for us to review the situation.

It should be fairly apparent that one cannot simply open a new account if there have been problems with a past account. This is true of every trading site.

Your (new) account looks fine to me.
