This is a reading blog. I am working through the books in the Well-Educated Mind. I'm reading Don Quixote, next is the Epic of Gilgamesh. There are also weekly posts on grammar and vocabulary as well as extras such as artists, science, history, anything I've come across that I admire and think will be fun and/or educational. It's a new blog as I am new to blogging. I welcome feedback as I would like it to be a discussion about books.

I would like to introduce my new book blog. I had one before but it became a spam magnet unfourtunatly. So I have stopped posting on it. My new blog is www.melodysbookshelf.blogspot.com. It is currently not really going but as soon as I finish the book I am currently reading I am going to start posting my reviews!

I would love followers and anyone who adds me will be followed/added in return! Please let me know. The first review should be up in about a day or two!

Edited to add: I have gone through all the blogs here and they are wonderful. I have chosen a lot to follow!

Dec 30, 2010, 1:14 pm

I have been doing some remodeling on my blog and transformed it into a daily one a short while ago. Unlike a lot of other blogs that are about books, mine will not feature reviews very often though.
There will be a lot about my life as a writer, but also about books in general and, well everything even remotely bookish. You'll find "theme days" eg "A Writer's Life", "Quote Garden" or "Beyond the Shelf" throughout the week.
http://the-book-garden.blogspot.com/

And to make things even more fun for my readers, I have also decided to host giveaways every time my blog reaches a certain number of followers (not to say I use this to lure in more readers, but oh well).
