The staff of the pub where I'm having my birthday party are all dressing as pirates. It's also Jewish New Year. This presented me with some theming issues....

In the end I told everyone just to wear whatever makes them feel fabulous.

I'm looking forward to it. I am working, so it's going to be interesting trying to remember to talk like a pirate all day.

Another interesting thing that's happening is that Telltale Games is giving away the first episode of The Tales of Monkey Island Saturday on their Web site. It's a point-and-click adventure game like Kings Quest or The Legend of Kyrandia... only about a pirate. It's for PC. If anyone is interested I'll post the link.

Oh, and:

#2 You should organize a "Pirate Pride" rally. Everyone can rally 'round your banner.

#8 Why is the rum always gone?
