I am here. Because I'm not over there. Anything you want to talk about?

What about you? anything going on?

Nothing really. Avoiding science homework. The only really interesting thing was listening to Marco Hietala sing "Don't Stop Believin" (sp) which made my ears bleed.

oohh i've heard some bad singing of good songs, i totally get the ears bleeding. its also like when i saw this couple dancing at the Sadie Hawkins dance, they made me blind temporarily lol

-Who's Sadie Hawkins? (I knew she had a dance, but I don't know who she is.)
-Another interesting part of my day was watching the last 45 minutes of Dark Ride on the sci-fi channel. Not scary so much as feeling nauseous from looking at the fake blood and the killer limping around in a straight-jacket and baby-doll mask.
-what's going on with you?

An American folk event, Sadie Hawkins Day is a pseudo-holiday that originated in Al Capp's classic hillbilly comic strip, Li'l Abner (1934 to 1977). The event is still observed in the form of dances at which girls approach (or chase after) boys

In the United States, the Sadie Hawkins Dance is usually a less formal dance sponsored by a high school, middle school or college, in which female students invite male students. This is contrary to the usual custom of male students inviting females to school dances such as Prom, in the spring and Homecoming, in the fall.

Hi hi what up?

Oh you like "Girl's Choice"? When girls ask out boys to the dance?

Not much. Ok THAT'S a lie....I am moving to a different house. I'll still be in the same area but diff house.
We had a football game 2day and we won 8-12; the guys playing on the field the cheerleaders cheering on the track in their uniforms(I change my mind most cheerleaders ARE snobby.....I got stuck with the whole squad after school and they totally put me on the spot....) kids going back and forth to get snacks...blah...blah...blah...

Oh and did I say that I'm gonna be a football player? Long Story...........

-We're playing 'football' in gym class
-We had the homecoming game last Friday. And we lost.
-But there's a Scare Tactics marathon on tomorrow so I don't care

12VetaTorres

football, as in American football... you seem a little scrawny to be playing that Reggie...

The Homecoming Dance is not until Nov. and all my close friends can't go... and my parents already bought me a ticket... i have no idea who i'm going with if i am even going... sad day..my senior yr too..

Everybody I know has had homecoming these past couple of weeks. It's so depressing.
A) I'm a homeschooler
B) My guy and I are "just friends" right now and he sees no point in school events besides football games and would be too scared to invite me. :(

11> What is a 'Scare Tactics Marathon'?
-----------------------------------------

12> No worries Renee......And I'm actually signing up for 'Flag Football'......No worries I played b4 and made 3 touchdowns for my team and I also scratched my knee when I got tackled BUT no worries.

Oh and why are you gonna be going to the Homecoming Dance by yourself? Aren't you going with your boyfriend?
----------------------------------------------------

13> Aw sorry SecretariatGirl.....It's ok plus the dance that's REALLY important is the one during your senior year; so don't stress.
.........................................................................

We are gonna start selling candy grams the week after next week....I wonder if someone will send ME one....probably not I'm not the most likable girl in school. *memories*
And the first school dance is coming up!! I wonder if I should go. i wonder if someone will ask me to the dance. BUT I might act like a wallflower instead of a social butterfly when I get there since I don't know much people.

-Scare tactics is a show on Syfy where professionals pull pranks on unsuspecting (they are set up by their friends but don't find this out until the end) people. And they film them over/under reacting. And there's dozens of episodes back to back.

-We don't have a homecoming dance. (Not for the middle school-yes I'm still there-but maybe the high school.) Therefore I'm not asked by anybody.

i was gonna go with my bf but he's in the school band and they have a competition that day, all day...

19nele95
Oct 7, 2009, 3:02 pm

all day compition. I feel sorry for him. It's hard enough having an all day comption in dance. But band dang

20VetaTorres
Oct 7, 2009, 5:17 pm

yeah i used to do that too cuz band and pageantry perform together, ya know the whole field show thing. And this particular competition is hosted by our school so our band has to work and perform. so they get to school at like 6:00 AM and don't leave until like 2:00 AM the next morning.

Nov 3, 2009, 7:21 pm

yup it's a situation that deserves an o.o.o

no worries tho he promised to stay away to the message boards where we talk about 'girl stuff'

I guess that means he has to stay away to most of them.

But I think he's thinking about making he's own group. cuz we were talking a few minutes ago
when we were studying for debate and he asked how you can make your own group on LT.

33VetaTorres
Nov 3, 2009, 9:16 pm

34ragulto101
Nov 4, 2009, 2:50 pm

38jettblack28

i think we should let him share what he thinks, if he is comfortable with it.

39nele95
Nov 5, 2009, 3:11 pm

yeah we don't want him too be too unncomterbule even though after talking about him this much he is

40ragulto101
Nov 6, 2009, 4:17 pm

Ok. Next time me and him (and maybe Courtney; a friend of ours who recently joined LT.) meet @ the library I'll remind him not to 4get his library card so we can chat @ the same time.

But seriously most of the time I can't stand the guy. I've been asking my English teacher if I can switch seats so I won't have to sit beside him but NOOOO. That's whata she says everytime.
