"Zeppelin City," by Michael Swanwick and Eileen Gunn, is a steampunk novelette now at Tor.com, free online. I'd actually call it "petrolpunk:" autogyros, slidewalks, naked brains in glass jars and cutting-edge radio science. Part of "Steampunk Month" at Tor.com.

There's also an MP3 of a live reading that Swanwick and Gunn did together at last Readercon. An excellent reading, though you'll hear a certain amount of background noise from the hallway outside. FWIW, I had a small role in getting the audio to Tor for them to make the MP3.
