OKay, I'm inspired. I'm throwing my hat in the ring too. I'm going to do both title and author challenges, in no particular order. I'm starting with the book I finished today and my goal is to finish by the end of 2010.

Welcome to the group elizabethanne!

How do you feel about Robert Heinlein novels? I have Stranger in a Strange Land sitting on my bookshelf but have yet to read it. Have you read that? Did you enjoy Have Space Suit - Will Travel?

Good luck with the challenge!

Thank you all - I feel so welcome!!

Confession - this is the first Heinlein book I have read. Although I too have Stranger in a Strange Land (as well as a few others) sitting on my TBR shelf. I'm working on finishing up my 999 challenge and this helped in my SciFi/Fantasy category. I enjoyed it very much and may use one or two more Heinlein novels to fill out my 999.

Welcome, elizabethanne. I think you're going to enjoy it here. I am glad you liked Heinlein. I just ordered Stranger.....which will be my first Heinlein. Happy reading!

Haven't read Have Spacesuit... yet but it's scheduled for my 1010 Category challenge. I hope Stranger in a Strange Land won't put either of you off from reading more of his works. In a lot of respects it's very much a book of its time but its just one of those titles that seem to polarise people's opinions. Personally, I'm in the like it camp but it's not my favourite of his. That distinction goes to The Moon is a Harsh Mistress closely followed by Friday.

Time to add two more books:

Naked Once More by Elizabeth Peters under titles and Into the Forest by Jean Hegland under authors. Both of these were great books!
