Wishlists are by far and away the most frequently requested feature on LibraryThing and, as AndewB said they are frequently - and possibly unreliably - rumoured to be not too far away.
Meanwhile the suggestion is that you tag your wish list books with 'wishlist' or something similar.
There has also been much discussion of books that are 'read but not owned', nothing is currently rumoured or expected that will improve the handling of these. Tags work pretty well, though your mileage - and your statistics - may vary.
