Every message in the Groups has a 'flag abuse' link under it (the link refers to the message above it, not below). If you click it you will see a yellow warning box and be asked to confirm that you do want to flag the post.
Any member can only flag a post once.
The first flag is noted but nothing shows; the second flag shows up as a little flag; the fourth flag hides the post. That is it takes four different members to flag a post before it is removed.
This is a pretty effective approach to self-moderation in the Groups.
