Unless I grossly misread their email. I received one from amazon.com stating that they now allow us to list Kindle books on our Wish List online so people can gift us with them.
So I immediately listed five books on my page and now there is a notation following each title saying that they cannot be ordered as gifts at this time but hopefully will be available in the near future!
