Was I the only one who was disappointed in Teach Yourself Cognitive Behavioural Therapy that it seemed to dwell too much on using CBT for self-help and not enough on the practice of using CBT professionally? I wasn't expecting one book to make me a trained therapist, but I wanted a bit more insight into what therapists do and how they work.
I wasn't even convinced that it made a good self-help book. 4 or 5 pages on specific conditions (depression, anxiety, anger) doesn't really seem enough to be of any use.
