Not just for completists - the 6 cd set of all of Holly's studio work and a fair number of extras. Extras range from very early home recordings while he was still in country mode to the set's highlights - a set of acoustic demos Buddy cut in his and Maria Elena's NYC apt about 3 months before the plane crash.
25 - You're The One
26 - That's What They Say
27 - What To Do
28 - Peggy Sue Got Married
29 - That Makes It Tough
30 - Crying, Waiting, Hoping
31 - Learning The Game
32 - Wait Till The Sun Shines Nellie
Lovely songs and incredibly poignant. Later to become heavily overdubbed by Norman Petty posthumously.
Remastering is excellent all around except on 2 songs on the 6 cds that sound like they were taken from a AM radio w/ bad reception.
Besides, "Everyday" - during it's rerelease in 1961(?) was the first pop song I ever really loved - having been something of a classical snob as a young twit.
