Wow, you've got an impressive list started here! I'm wading through The Three Musketeers - started in the spring and keep setting it aside. Not sure why, since it really is a fun book with lots of action. Must get back to it.
Good luck with the challenge - anxious to see who you're reading for G.

sjmccreary , It took me about a month to read Musketeers . My small problem was seeing such a different portrayal of D'Artaragan . In all the movies he's the nice innocent kid . But the book shows more of a well-rounded character with several sides to him .

G. Stella Gibbons : Cold Comfort Farm - This was a fun comedy from the 1930s . The main character Flora decides to live off of her distant relatives , but once she meets the Starkadders , she helps them change their lives for the better .

H. Hermann Hesse : Siddhartha - This was the classic novel about a young man spends most of his life searching for his spiritual path . Lovely prose .

I. Susan Isaacs : Any Place I Hang My Hat - This was a really good women's fiction novel . The main character Amy Lincoln searches for the mother that abandoned her as a baby while working as a political journalist .
