Hi, I'm Tracy, and this is my first time participating in a category challenge. I'm going to go easy on myself: I'll have 10 categories, but I'm only setting a goal of reading five in each category. I also expect to have a lot of overlap.

Since I don't plan to list all of my reading here, please feel free to visit my main thread over at Club Read.

1. 19th Century Classics
2. 20th Century Classics
3. Group Reads
4. Minnesota
5. Virago Modern Classics
6. Mysteries and Thrillers
7. Historical Fiction
8. TBR Pile: 2008 and earlier
9. TBR Pile: 2009
10. LT-Inspired Reading

Way back in a previous life, I studied early 20th century American fiction. I plan to return to this in 2010.

Category 10: LT-Inspired Reading
My wishlist grows by leaps and bounds because of all the wonderful books people write about here on LT. I'll allow myself to buy a few this year. :-)

1. Doomsday Book by Connie Willis. 4/5. Review. Finished 1/31/2010. I don't remember exactly who recommended this, but I know I would have never read it if I hadn't heard about it on LT.
2. The Wednesday Sisters by Meg Waite Clayton. 3/5. Review. Finished 2/8/2010. Clayton is (was?) a regular poster here on LT, and the book did quite well, so I was curious about it.
3.
4.
5.

Ideas: Something by Hillary Mantel
